One commenter at TPM a few weeks ago speculated that because the media has coddled McCain for so many years--he's actually habitually shot off his mouth but simply hasn't been called on it--that he's unready for the tough and rumble of the media covering a presidential nominee.
Gillis, the media has coddled McCain, sheesh what a joke.
So, he whines about not getting media coverage. Then when he gets it, he cancels.

Indeed the great and perhaps somewhat unexpected benefit to obama of his heralded world tour may be the utter implosion of the Mccain campaign---they simply do not know what to do with themselves over this whole shindig.
